AUDIO DEMOS:

Latte - Virtual Synthesizer

Latte is inspired by the old synthesizers from the past and is able to produce powerful synth sounds, fat basses, expressive leads, crazy sounds and more. Despite the synth layout looks very simple the modulation options allows to shape the sound in a lot of different ways. One of the most interesting features is the possibility to use the polyphonic aftertouch* as a modulation source to create the typical expressive sounds which has been a trademark for the well known synth gurus of the past.

The Saw/Pulse oscillator of Latte, characterized by a powerful and warm sound, has been created specially with the aim to recreate a realistic vintage sound.

 *POLYPHONIC AFTERTOUCH

WHAT IS POLYPHONIC AFTERTOUCH?

"Polyphonic aftertouch is a feature of MIDI keyboards and synthesizers that allows a player to vary a parameter on each note independently, based on the pressure on the key, after the note is struck. It can be very expressive, but it takes a lot of practice to develop the finger dexterity to use it effectively. Polyphonic aftertouch is a very rare feature, because it is expensive to implement and few people can use it well. Most keyboards with aftertouch capability only provide channel aftertouch, with is based on the average pressure of all the keys that are pressed.

Even if you do not have a MIDI controller with polyphonic aftertouch, some MIDI sequencer/editors can be used to add it to the performance data."
